Beendigen (622-1121) - An independent Aboriginal Family Healing Agency whose vision is to provide safety and shelter to Aboriginal women and children experiencing family violence and to facilitate the cycle of healing through the delivery of culturally appropriate programs and services to individuals and families.

• Crisis Line (622-5101) - Providing 24 hour crisis intervention services
• Crisis Home - Provides emergency shelter and support to Native women and children from family violence situations

Lakehead University Psychology Clinic (343-8441) - Psychological assessment and treatment for individuals of all ages, couples, families, and groups for learning, behavioral, emotional, relationship, and women's issues. Services by registered clinical psychologists, Doctoral and Masters interns. Services the community and University.

Schizophrenia Society of Ontario (767-1640) - Increases the awareness of schizophrenia, educates families, professionals, and those with schizophrenia and the general public. Advocates with the governments for increased funding for brain research and improved services. Also raises money for research.
